Mediation Prep Workshop

One of the biggest mistakes made in a divorce proceeding is to attend mediation before one is prepared or ready. Mediation should be considered only once you are ready. One should prepare for mediation as if preparing for trial. What you will get: one-on-one assistance reviewing your legal issues, the applicable law, and potential resolutions. Estimated time: 1 to 5 hours.

First-Draft Stipulation

Don't to try direct negotiation or go to mediation without a first draft stipulation. Having a basic start to your legal, written resolution can do wonders for your case and for the mediator trying to facilitate a resolution. What you will get: a one hour video consultation with attorney Jennifer L. Neeley where, together, you create your first draft stipulation with proposed terms for a global settlement or final resolution of your legal case. Estimated time: 1 to 5 hours.

Mediation Representation

Well over 90% of cases resolve by agreement at or before trial. Agreements can be achieved on your own, through direct negotiation. They can also be achieved through mediation, with the help of a neutral mediator. If you find yourself going to mediation, having legal counsel at the mediation is a good idea. What you will get: We can appear on a limited scope basis and represent you at mediation. This is the only component of our do-it-for-you packages that is not included in the flat fee. Regular hourly rates apply; average mediation time: 2 to 5 hours.

Final Divorce Documents

Once you have arrived at your full agreement, it's time to produce and execute the remaining legal documents. What you will get: All of the necessary final and remaining documents needed to secure a legal divorce crafted by attorney Jennifer L. Neeley and delivered to you for your review. Estimated time: 2 hours.

Electronic Signature Assistance

Let us assist with the signature and approval process of the final divorce documents. Sometimes the technical details involved here can present difficulty and complication. Simplify the process with our help. What you will get: Attorney Jennifer L. Neeley will obtain valid, electronic signatures on all of your final documents, where needed, from both parties. Estimated time: 1 hour.

Electronic Case Filing & Monitoring

We will electronically file your divorce action along with  the approved stipulation. We will file any certificates of completion for the required divorce education classes, then submit the proposed Decree of Divorce and Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law at the end of the 30-day waiting period. We will monitor the matter until your Decree of Divorce is approved by district court judge and officially entered by the clerk of court. Estimated time: 1 hour.
